2010 Coleco Shark Tank Straight Slot Finals

The finals of the 2010 LTHL Chicago Straight Slot Championshipseries were held on Sunday, Feb. 28 at Vito and Nick's in Lemont, IL. Four finalists qualified after the first two tournaments were held at the end of 2009. They played a 4x round robin and the top two would qualify for a Best of 7 finals. The participants were Jeff Thill, the relative kid from South Holland who's become Chicago's reigning straight slot champ; Jim Rzonca, the organizer and multi-time finalist in the legendary Chicago Table Hockey League, which was a straight slot league; Ron Marsik, old slowhhand and a grizzled veteran who thrives under pressure; and Dan Lord, another crafty veteran whose offense has won him a few tournaments over the years.
