The LTHL was back in action post-Las Vegas tournament at Vito and Nick's. We had three newcomers in the house: Brandon Rodriguez and his father, Primo, and Bill Popp, a Wiffle ball player extraordinaire from Hickory Hills. Another newcomer from around Midway Airport couldn't make it. Maybe next time. Nine players all told for three round robins of action. Coming out on top was Eric Krol, who tied with Jim Rzonca for points. But Krol was 2-0-1 in their series so he wins tiebreaker. His only two losses came against Joe Salazar, who was fourth on the night. Third was John Medema. Roger Carlson went 4-4 in each round robin and finished the night at .500, probably his best LTHL finish to date. The newcomers and rookie Joe Rozanski slugged it out, trading wins and ties. Brandon flashed quick reflexes in net and plans to work on his offense, often the biggest challenge for Stiga newcomers. Rozanski started to develop a RW-C combo, as did Carlson.
