LODGING UPDATE
The D-Lux in Lemont is sold out for our big table hockey weekend. You guys took advantage of the low rates. There are a strip of hotels on Route 83 near Interstate 55 (see below). Also, there are another group of hotels further south on Interstate 55. Greg Scoma has posted more information about those hotels here: OTHER HOTELS
Here are the hotels we've recommended/worked with in the past.
Holiday Inn:
This hotel has a block of 10 rooms reserved at $90
a night under the name "Lemont Table Hockey League."
Call (630) 325-6400. This special group rate expires July 7, 2006.The hotel, which is next to a Red Roof
Inn and a La Quinta Inn, is located at Route 83 and Interstate
55 (7800 Kingery Hwy. in Willowbrook, IL). The upside: free
shuttle to the hotel from Midway Airport and back.
Note: You must call and give them your flight number and
arrival time so they know when to pick you up. Also, a free
shuttle van from the hotel to the Lithuanian Center at 9:45 a.m. Saturday
. They'll also pick you up from the Lithuanian Center
and take you back to the hotel. Hotel is about 15 minutes
from the venue. If you went this route, you wouldn't have
to rent a car. There are places to eat around the hotel,
where some of you stayed for last year's tournament. See

Inn Willowbrook
D-Lux Budget Inn:
A no-frills motel about five minutes' ride from the venue,
but you might be able to catch a ride with some fellow players
and save on a rental car. Rooms are $48.75 a night as of July 2006 (plus tax)
for two double beds. It's a no-frills place --- no resturant
or bells and whistles. Motel is at 12241 S. Archer Ave. in
Lemont, IL. Owners Maria and Albert can be reached at (800)
